The Woman’s Club of El Paso (WCOEP) organized in 1894 and today is committed to providing an educational and cultural center for its members, preserving the physical integrity of its historic clubhouse, improving conditions and opportunities for women, and enhancing the quality of life in our community. (WCOEP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
*Our Ladies are a beautiful Crazy Quilt of Talents an Professions!” Educators, Office Managers and Staff, Bank Presidents, Stay-at-Home-Moms, Librarians, Business Owners, CPA’s, College Professors, Marketing & Sales Pros, retiree’s and more. *Besides having a long history of community involvement, WCOEP has helped with the Arts and Cultural of the community, integral in creating 1st Art Museum and bringing the Kress Collection to El Paso, the education of children, i.e. 1st Library in El Paso, Music Education in Public Schools. Children’s Music and Dance recitals are still held in our Club house Auditorium today, and more *The woman’s Club also has a Scholarship and Fundraising Group, Helps Homeless Women Veterans, a Book Club, Arts & Crafts Club, Club House Preservation Group, and are always looking to expand into other areas our members might like to pursue.
